What to bring for a tandem paragliding flight
One of the most common questions we get is: ‘What equipment do I need?’ The great news is that you don’t need any special gear or extra expenses. Your only job is to feel comfortable, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Here is a quick checklist for your flight:
-
Sports shoes (sneakers): Any sneakers are a great choice. Just make sure you don’t wear open shoes (slippers or sandals), as you will need to take a few steps and jog briefly during takeoff and landing.
-
Comfortable clothing: Sportswear or clothes that allow you to move freely are ideal. If you are flying in early spring, it can be a bit cooler up in the air, so a light windbreaker or hoodie is a great idea then.
-
Sunglasses: Feel free to bring them! Besides sun protection, they protect your eyes from the wind during the flight, and there’s no fear of them falling off.
-
Hair tie: If you have long hair, we recommend tying it in a ponytail or braid for comfort when putting on the safety helmet.
-
Phone or camera: Want to capture the moment? No problem! We can take great photos at the takeoff site, and during the flight, your phone and small items can be safely stored in a dedicated compartment in the paraglider harness.
- Don’t worry about hydration — we provide the water! Also, any items you don’t need during the flight can be safely left in our vehicle.
