What you need to know before your paragliding flight in Budva

• Dress appropriately for the flight – we recommend closed shoes suitable for running, long pants, and a windbreaker, unless you are flying during the summer months. In that case, we suggest bringing sunscreen and plenty of water. Additionally, we advise you not to eat for a few hours before the flight, especially if you are prone to motion sickness. Keep in mind that the temperature at the takeoff site is usually about 5°C cooler than in Budva.

• Once we arrive by car near the takeoff location, we will need to walk for about 5 minutes to the launch site. Before the flight, we will conduct a short briefing on the necessary procedures. You will also need to sign a liability waiver.

• When we are ready for the flight, we will put a helmet on you and carefully secure you in your seat. Our system includes a separate seat for the passenger and another for the pilot, both connected and equipped with a shared reserve parachute for extra safety. Your pilot will thoroughly check the parachute and prepare it for takeoff, and just before launch, he will recheck all the points.

• If you choose to use our camera, it will be secured with a strap and will remain with you during the flight. The camera is easy to use, but your pilot will assist you if needed.

• When the conditions are right, we will run together in the direction indicated by the pilot. The running distance can range from just a few steps to the entire length of the launch area, which is about 8 meters, depending on the current wind conditions. During takeoff, we will use two commands: “Go” and “Run.” When you hear “Go,” start moving slowly. When you hear “Run,” gradually increase your speed. It is very important not to sit down, squat, jump, or stop during this process. The pilot will inform you when it is safe to settle into your seat and will help you get comfortable.

• During landing, the pilot will give you instructions to either raise your legs or run, depending on the landing plan.
